Narendra Modi Speech at FICCI on Women Empowerment and Development

Narendra Modi delivered his speech at FICCI i.e. Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Women Empowerment and Development.

He said, “In our culture mothers name come first above everyone else. ’Ma' evokes reverence - that is our tradition. We pronounce ‘Bharat’- our country - Ma... anything we hold in reverence we address as Ma," he said and then swiftly listed the number of things he said his Gujarat government had done to empower women.

 Highlights Of Modi’s Speech:

·         He said that I am happy that our sisters and mothers are so attentive about social knowledge.
·         In our tradition “ma” word evokes reverence.
·          The girl child could see her mother's face in the 18th century but now we have gone back further.
·         Now at this time the foetus is killed.
·         If we want to make a modern as well as happily India, we have to boost up the performance and work of women.
·         I will salute that women’s who will not marry for their parents to help them in old age.
·         If we give a chance to women than definitely she can do everything.
·         We should recognize that women can take care of parents better than men.  Is it not in society?
·         To get their husbands attention women have totally been burnt. Women say.
·         Women will do everything when she realized that her home is on fire. Just take an example she will not buy sari when she will think about her husband’s income.

·         We have to first register the mother's name, and after that all process will be done.

·         We have to connect women with our development.
·         In the west, women’s are home makers. This is perception don’t believe in all this.
·         Who runs the Amul Brand?
·         Finally he said that we are not taking women as a decision making in every field. We have to change it now.
